In the summer of 2021, Timothy James & Partners had the honour of being sponsors of the Van Gogh Alive exhibition at Kensington Gardens, helping bring the famous Vincent Van Gogh and his world-renowned art pieces to life!
The exhibition
Having dazzled over 8 million visitors across 75 cities worldwide, we were absolutely delighted to have partaken in this global experience which was one of the most anticipated events of the year!
Our part
With the wonderful Gyles Brandreth as our event host, Timothy James & Partners held 4 independent client-exclusive VIP nights throughout the summer, as a small gesture to thank/honour to our clients and their long-standing loyalty which we recognise are integral to the success of our future.
Raising money
Van Gogh Alive partnered with multiple charities such as SHOUT, Global’s Make Some Noise (aimed at improving the lives of disadvantaged communities) and also Kingston Hospital Charity which we chose to partner directly with. Our mission with Kingston Hospital Charity this summer was to take initiative and raise enough funds to help build an independent children’s cancer ward.
After some rigorous fundraising we are pleased to announce that a total of £25,000 has been raised for Kingston Charity and a total of approx. £65,000 overall across all three charities!
A word from Gyles
“Congratulations, all of the events were all great and each was slightly different.
I was privileged to be a part of it and I do salute you, Lu, on making it all work so smoothly. I have had lovely feedback – and people really love TJP, so you’re all doing a very special job. Hooray!
Here’s to the next one.”
